thank you all for your kind words! i've said this before...but when i sit down to "escape"....i don't want to do something thats gonna give me more of a nervous breakdown. and traditional pieceing did just that. i always admire the beautiful pieced quilts i see on here, but i dont think regular pieceing is for me. this is just so relaxing to do. and you dont have to worry too much about total precision, although im a perfectionist, so i really try to pay attention.
but little mistakes will be hidden in raggies. as you do more and more, you start to learn little tips and tricks along the way, then they start coming out better and better.
this pattern is my favorite. didn't even know what the name of it was, just saw it in a magazine and thought...now i could use that pattern in a rag quilt! getting ready to finish a table topper and i will be sure to post pics.

Love your quilt...I have been saving flannel for several years to make one....Due tell how do you do it...size of sq...batting, backing, seam width????????? I will be watching for your directions.....Thanks so very much. Carol (Nana)

Beautiful. how large are your squares? Did you use batting, flannel, fleece in the center? I love the all white back. How large is it overall and if you don't mind me asking, why the 1/2 squares around it. I love it, just have never seen one like that.
