Latest sewing machine cover

I was so inspired by your covers that me and my quilting buddy made us one. She had some beautiful deco fabric and I ordered some "stiff" stuff (have forgotten what it's really called, you might have recommended it ) and she quilted it on her long arm. I made one for my Janome 6600 and my 350e. I just purchased a 15000 and now I don't have a cover for it and probably never will; don't think I could come up with correct measurements. I am giving my 350 to my daughter and will probably keep the 6600 just so I can look at her cover (not really, I really do like that machine, thought about selling her, but don't know). My friend recently passed away and I like to look at that cover and remember the good times we had while doing all of our quilting. I would like to post a picture of my covers if that is okay with you. I always appreciated and hopefully thanked you for inspiration. Mine is nothing compared to your covers, but I am happy with the way they turned out. Again, I thank you.

Sah, your cover is LOVELY! Very much to my taste! What a great memory too of your friend, I'm so sorry for you loss.
It's really easy to measure for a machine. I like mine loose, so I had an inch of ease all the way around, but basically just measure the width, the height, and the depth. Add one inch to each of those measurements for a half inch seam allowance, then I like to add an additional inch to each of those for ease. When made with a stiff foam like Soft and Stable, they are self supporting anyway and will stand up even if there isn't a machine beneath them
