I think it's unanmous we all love "once in blue moon" for yor gorgeous quilt. As for quilting I agree that quilting in the areas around the circles but not SID in the centers of the circles would be the best idea so the moons stand out rather that the intersecting areas. I don't think a grid pattern would do you quilt justice. Whatever you choose I hope you share it with us before you gift it.

Yep BLUE MOON sounds good to me...you did a wonderful job,and the colors are very pretty.

I agree - beautiful quilt, and "Once in A Blue Moon" pretty much describes how often you'll be doing one of these ...!
