No, I haven't but that's a great tip. I will be trying your tip. Thanks! I'm still new to FM so I have lots of tips and tricks to try. :lol:

I agree my mom does do beautiful counted cross stitch. While I'm at her house in Huntsville in April I'm going to raid her drawer of finished cross stitch and see what else I can put in a quilt. :mrgreen:

I love it, it's so beautiful. You had my vote when I saw the Iris's quilted on it. I just love my Iris's!! :D Thank you for sharing, I know your Mom is going to love it.
