    A helpful hint from my kids (younger and much more techie than their old ma!). When using the phone camera, brace you elbow on something sturdy and hold your breath. A camera is so much easier to move and mush up the pic. It made a bunch of difference with my blurry photos!

    I love that pattern but have never made it. Do you cut each square on the diagonal and insert the white strip or do you put all the squares together and then cut the diagonals and put in a long strip. I would be inclined to do the later but would like to know is anyone has done that.

    Cut each square 6 1/2", cut it on the diagonal, insert a 1 1/2" strip. Trim - mine were 6 3/4" One cut, two seams and your block is finished. It made a quick prayer quilt. It seems to me there would be some distortion somewhere sewing the blocks first, then cutting.
