    I love the '30's fabrics, and the backing is perfect. Your daughter and son-in-law will cherish it for all their lives.

    Thanks for all the great comments! We love this quilt. We had never done a quilt with repro fabrics and it was a lot of fun picking out the FQ for this quilt - I think we started with 30 FQ and 6 yards of white. I don't know if the pattern has a name, but it's a Tn Waltz block and a Shoo-Fly block. I used Deb Tucker's ruler for all the Triangle-in-square units. The panto is "Whole Lotta Love" from www.urbanelementz.com. We wanted to quilt in green, but none of the greens we had looked good with both the back and the front, and we knew the binding would be purple, so we used the purple thread.
