    Thank you for comments. Sorry to have been so quiet lately - but I had a viral infection which (horror of horrors) made my hands swell so much I couldnt bend fingers or hold anything and it was so painful - worst thing to happen to a quilter!
    I have been reading daily though and keeping up with everyone.
    Now it is under control, and I am back in the sewing room.

    Our local village has its Fete Day early next month and I am making a few small things (bags, tea cozies, runners, specs cases) to have a stall.
    Will post some pix.

    I have just collected up together fabrics from a range of lilac sprays, petals, with cream and sage co-ordinates, and trying to decide on a pattern/layout which suits it best.
