I'm making a quilt in sunset/mountain colors as a gift. I have 50+ squares and cannot decide whether to put it together on point (I have one picture of them more or less randomly placed on point) or in traditional rows (in which case I'll probably arrange them something like in the other picture -- with the yellow/oranges in the center, working their way out to the blues/purples). In neither picture are all the squares included, but you get the idea.

So which layout do you like better?

BTW these squares were exceptionally quick -- started with batik 2.5" strip sets from Connecting Threads (Sunset and Mountainside collections) and then did the tube method. I have three fabrics from the collections to use for the borders.
