    Default Leftover and mistake blocks

I posted this in the scrappy quilt show, but a friend told me I should post it here, too. Made from an accumulation of leftover and unloved blocks when the colors didn't work as I had planned.

Great idea, if I say so myself. I actually have that in mind if I ever get that many leftovers…I am not a prolific quilter and often "cut" it very close to the bone…

I love it. People are making money selling patterns that use all sorts of odd blocks in them Jen Klingwell comes to mind.

It turned out looking "intentional". The purple you used for the sashing is great!

Thanks for your posting. I've got an accumulation of orphan blocks looking for a quilt . . . this just could be it! Your quilt is beautiful with those blue sashings.

Yes, I agree, and your purple sashing pulls it together nicely.
