    You use a used dryer sheet as the foundation of a block. The dryer sheet can even be twice used. You iron it flat then lay two strips - right sides together - diagonally across the dryer sheet. Line them up - raw edges together - and sew a scant 1/4" seam. Open them out and press them. Then take another scrap and put it right sides together with the one on the dryer sheet. Keep going until you cover the block. There have been various threads about this in the past. Search dryer sheet and see what you find.

    Such a beautiful quilt and she is going to love it. You are certainly creative with the idea of looking at the registry for the colors the bride and groom choose. Kudos to you for sharing your quilting talents and your generosity.
