It turned out to be a wonderful quilt. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us.

I consider just about everything in life (except coming down with the flu) a lesson in patience.

Why do you use a walking foot to sew your sashing and borders. I thought a walking foot was used for quilting like "stitch in the ditch". But cute, cute, cute quilt.

A walking foot is to keep multiple layers from slipping when doing straight-line quilting, isn't it?

I might have just quilted it to death to smash down the bumps. But your monkey squares are so adorable, I can certainly see the value of going back and doing it "right".
    Nice job!

Cute quilt for sure. I am sure you will always be glad you corrected your screw up. I know I am always glad when I make the effort to correct a problem-I just can't let it go until it is done to the best of my ability. Another lesson that it teaches me is to be more careful when doing a project. Haste does make waste.
