Let it Snow wall hanging (this was the bad embroidery one)
#1
I posted a few months back after I got this top back from the embroidery shop asking for suggestions on what I could do with the mess it had become. I ended up just quilting as best I could to try and hide the bunched fabric in the banner. I think the quilting hid the scrunched areas but the banner is still slightly pulled out of shape and the whole top isn't square because of the fabric pulling. It's not horrible though and I don't mind gifting it this Christmas to my step mom.
I've had the quilting done for more than a month but I just didn't feel like sewing the buttons on so it sat and sat. I've got too many projects sitting unfinished though so it's time to start getting them completed!

This was the "before" shot

OMG Rachel, you do incredible FMQ work! I can see now that you're making great use of that wonderful Bernina 440QE! How did you do the snowflakes? Did you just go slow or did you follow a design?
The wall hanging looks great and I think you should give it to your step mom as a gift. We are all hard on ourselves, but I really think you did an excellent job working out the puckering problems. Well done!
