    Don't like the red. The darker border mimics a wooden picture frame. Think I like that one best!

    I think #1 you loose the tree
    #2 is the best choice and maybe a couple geko somewhere on the quilt
    #3 just doesn't work

    do small border of one fabric and then do a larger border of another. It will look like matting and frame
