    How about a narrow border (2 inch) of #1 and a wider border of #3?

    I love your palm trees, I am from the south along the beach where there are many palm trees. As far as which border I would like; the gecko's look very nice and also fits in with the southern beach theme. Love it.

    I really like #3 and #1. Could you use both? #3 next to the tree to properly frame it in a sunset/sunrise feel, and #1 to make it feel like it is your window you are seeing it from?

    Why not try 2 borders .One in blue that goes across the top and down the sides stopping at the land then the other in a brown defining the land area across the bottom and up the sides meeting the blue. You might find the blue needs to be light.I have seen this done and it can be very effective.

    I think#1 looks best it looks like there are more trees to be seen -did not like #2---and #3 I couldn't see past the border it was way to distracting totally forgot the trees were even there
