    I think #3 makes a nice frame and sets off the picture. The other two don't add pizzazz. You could use the green for binding.

    here's another one. This one in a different light - shows the bark print better (same as border #1) more definition to the pattern here.

    I think I'll look at the bark, the sunset, and the royal purple again in a better light tomorrow.

    I like #3, like you said it gives the quilt the look of a sunset.

    I like #1, but #3 gives it a real tropical feel.

    I think a gecko on the tree or on the ground would be cute, too! :)
