    Yep, the royal purple is the best (pg 2). It really pulls out the other colors and enhances what is going on. The palm fronds will disappear w/ #1. I like the tonal value of #2, and I think #3 is just to hot a color for all the way around the quilt when there isn't any other red in the quilt.

    I agreed with sandpat - the flange of the sunset fabric - but with the royal purple border. Try that and let us see!!!

    the second border is green with figures of little gecko's all over it (little Hawaiian lizard type creatures)
