Need border help. Three pic's of my landscape quilt below. Finally got the palm fronds put together and pinned to the top. Last night while laying in bed I thought I would extend some of the palm frond tips onto the border, so I'll need to attach the border before I sew the fronds down.

    But which border?

I've got several more batiks to try, blues, purples, yellows - not a whole lot of reds.

What do you guys think? Any of these or should I keep digging the stash?

Same material as the "bark" in the Palm trees

    I like #1 and #3.

#1 because it frames the tree.

#3 because it looks like the sunset on the beach.

I'm also thinking I have to cut out one of those cute little gecko's and put him in a tree!!

I like number 1 - I think it sets the palms off nicely.
P.S. Really pretty quilt. P.S.S. Why do we always think of these things while we're supposed to be sleeping? LOL

They each give the quilt a totally different look. I think I like #3 the best. The reds and oranges makes it pop. Very warm and tropical feeling.
