    Default Library quilt

I made this quilt for a friend’s son for Christmas. I have always wanted to make one of Wendy Etzel’s quilts. I used her books “The Collectible Quilt # 1 & 2”

I could not come up with a quilt that I thought he would like. His mother told me he loved to read, so I decided to make a quilt of his own library. I used his Encyclopedia set, and books from his favorite authors. Some books about things he is interested in.

I added a cork board, fish tank, and all kids love video games. I used some photo

fabric, to make some of the books and things on the cork board.

I had a lot of fun making this quilt. It took longer to make, because I didn’t have a pattern to follow. I still have to send it to the Quilter.
