    Default License Plate Quilt

I love the License Plates that are offered with the Row by Row Kits that quilt stores in the US have during the summer. It is a fantastic concept and one which I wish would be adopted here in Australia.

However, I have had some lovely quilting friends in the US who have 'swapped' license plates for a little Aussie gift with me and I have began to sew them into my first quilt. Here is the first row done and I am pleased with it so far. There will be another one done like this and in the middle of the quilt will be a large car appliqued (with a license plate of course) surrounded by other license plates (or that is how it looks in my head right now LOL)

I can't wait to see what the 2016 license plates are like.
