    Pal, thank you for your comment. Actually, the 2007 quilt is the only one of all my quilts that I still have. All the others were gifts.

    They are 3" squares and I used that fusible grid stuff so I was able to be precise.

    Thanks for explaining all that sooo clearly. I was thinking that some of it had to be painted...you did a really great job on it. So...are you starting a series of these?? :lol:
