Now how did you do that? Did you construct the picture separately then adhere the whole thing to the canvas or did you construct it on the canvas bit by bit.
Are the grey sky and grey line of trees in the background painted on or are they fabric?
Sorry so many questions but I am very interested in the way you have done it and the look that you have achieved.

Used painter's canvas as a base, adhered gray tree fabric (background fabric) to canvas with steam a seam 2, then constructed picture using different fabrics, using SAS2 and adhered picture to background fabric. Used hot ribbon for accents around windows, rocks. Did some highlighting with Copic fabric markers. This was a kit purchased from Lenny Honcoop at dutchquilter.com. She was at Quilts around Chautauqua in September and this is where I purchased. I have bought several of her kits over the years, but never used them. I've taken a few classes with her. She makes it look so easy! Guess I'll get those kits out now!
This one was a kit, but I should have said I have several patterns. Kits are a little pricy!
