Great looking wall hanging. Your work is very good. I can't imagine how wonderful your work will get with more practice. It will be terrific!

Yes I definitely think you need more practice- so I highly suggest your next practice piece be sent to me LOL. That is just beautiful. I know your DDIL will be so happy and definitely impressed with this beautiful work of art. You did just great, I have never seen or heard that I know of the method of using hot ribbon- can you explain the method? Thanks so much for sharing your artistic ability. Merry Christmas!!

Really, you're probably the only one who thinks you need more practice!! I'd be delighted to have something that beautiful!! Wonderful!

And I was at Quilts Around Chautauquah, too, but totally missed this! Just love it!

If you go to this website, dutchquilter.com, you can see some samples of hot ribbon art. It's mainly outlining your subject (ex. flowers) with hot ribbon. Check out her samples, they're beautiful. Even more spectacular in person. The ribbon is "glue" on one side and you apply with a Clover iron. If you misplace it, heat it up again and you can remove it. Usually ruins that piece of ribbon, but not always.

Thanks to you all for your wonderful comments!
