Gorgeous! I love the small kaleidoscope in the corners.

I love your quilt. Lilacs are my favorite flower. I have two bouquets of them in my office at work right now and they smell heavenly. I have that same lilac fabric and have been wanting to do a lilac quilt. Maybe you have inspired me. Thanks for sharing.

Now that is so pretty. Naturally almost anything in purple shades catches my eye, since that is my favorite color. I normaly don't care for most of the kaleidoscopes, but in a single setting like that it is just unique. That is such a lovely wall hanging and I agree I think deep purple for the binding would really be pretty. Love the way you used black on this. Maybe echo quilting with a stitch in the ditch from the center of each piece to it's end, making sort of a spiderweb effect. Does that make sense? I can picture it in my mind.

    I love lilacs.
Your wall hanging is fabulous! I also would be interested in fabric manufacturer, and is that an original design or is it a pattern? If so what block and or pattern is it?

Thanks, I'm still in the "learning "process of quilting, so I'll have to work on that. That left over fabric could be used for placemats,or maybe a beautiful spring purse.

I really love the setting you used. You asked for opinions about the binding; try looking at it with the black (or is it navy, I can't tell) that is in the quilt. This is really very pretty.
