    Hi K3n - I think that is enough from me at the moment :)
    I have just spent all morning trying to clean behind the tension discs inside a old New England treadle, where the previous 'expert' decided to put heavy black grease UGH - was turning the cotton black as it fed through. I now know what degreaser does :)

    I have just found one of tthese today in a junk sshop.
    Bought her for £10
    I have called her Florence.
    Now I need to restore her to her former glory.

    Beautiful!!!! I've never seen a hand crank machine! I have a 1900 Singer N Series...I love it!!!
