Because she's 9 I didn't want anything too youthful and wanted something that would grow with her. So, I used her favorite colors and quilted butterflies on it to add just a bit of whimsy. I'll deliver it today and will expect a call from my grandson tomorrow.

Dont know if I would go into quite as much detail for Andrews quilt. "What is a quilt supposed to look like"? Give me a break! Maybe a nine-patch for him in his favorite colors might be a good idea.
Your quilt is just lovely and what GD wouldnt just love to snuggle with it, especially with the butterflies. It just seems that butterflies and little girls go together! Keep up the good work!
