Where did you find Edyta Sitar's applique stencil that you used? The circle with the bird is just lovely! I went to her website and didn't find it.

This is adapted from the tree of Life pattern by Edyta Sitar and for the applique I used Edyta's applique stencils :o)

I think I finally "get it", Charisma. You don't have time to make all the pretty quilts in the world, so you get your satisfaction out of putting on the finishing touches for those who do such nice work! Golly, took me a long time to figure that out. ;) ha ha. This is indeed, a "favorite".... It is beautifully done by you and Linda. You make me smile in my soul, lovely lady!! Blessings.

The stencils are called Silhouettes they come in a set of three pages of plastic stencils to use in whatever combination you like to create your own applique designs, they are lots of fun to play with :o)

Hi Charisma - I have been wondering why you use polyester batting on most of your quilts. I really, really like the look but so many long arm quilters here in Iowa ONLY use wool or cotton batting. I just wanted to go armed with a defense when I request polyester batting. Do you use a blend poly? Is one brand better than another? Thanks so much for taking the time to reply. Kay
