This is Linda's fourth quilt....but my favorite.....well maybe...I have to many favorites....but if this were mine I would hang it on the wall. It's so pretty!

So for quilting I wanted to enhance the trees with leaves, and wood grain. I quilted little leaves and loops around the tree blocks. Then I put a leafy feather in the side setting triangles to bring it all in. For the birds and wreaths I echoed around the outside and filled them in with Swirls....to kind of break up texture and make it stand out.

    Beautiful quilt!

I used my 26 innova and quilted all of this freehand. The batting is quilter's dream cotton.

    Thanks for looking.

Oh beautiful detail!!! I love the tree bark and how it looks like wood.

I've never used "quilter's dream cotton" does it compare to 80/20 Hobbs or in it's own catagory?
