What a wonderful grandmother you are to care so much about her feelings. And you are teaching her a wonderful new skill.

She is adorable and her quilt is beautiful. She will love her brother and be a huge help I am sure. You are a great GM
and having you to do special projects with and to encourage her will help as well!

That came out great! My daughter was 8 when my twin boys were born and she wanted sisters too. When they were born she was right there at the hospital and she cried tears of joy when the first baby was born. Such emotions coming from a little girl. She loves her brothers so much (including her tormenting older brother) that she has asked us many times over the years to give her 1 more brother. She never again asked for a sister. That quilt has such a story behind it and I'm sure it's helped her accept what is to be.

YOU are such a sweet, kind and loving Grandma! You stepped into your perfect role with your DGD. That's what Grandmas are made for, huh?

Tell your darling Anna that she has a big fan here and I love her name. My grandmother's name was Anna, and if I'd had a daughter she'd have been named Anna. High five to a very talented and lovely little girl.
