What a wonderful memory for her -- both the quilt and the special time with Grammy!

I love this sweet story. You are a wise and loving Grammy to turn such disappointment into something very positive instead. Anna looks entirely pleased with her quilt for the little fellow.

Beautiful job on the quilt and great save with the disappointed grand daughter over her soon to be baby brother. She will be happy once she see's him and she is lucky to have you to help her with this transition period of her life.

You are such a great Grammy!! What a great solution to helping her accept that she's getting a brother instead of a sister. The quilt is so pretty.

Grammy, you're the best. I think that having your DGD make a quilt for her new baby brother was a fantastic idea. I'm sure that once she sees her new little brother, she will change her mind about wanting a sister. Besides, as a big sister, she'll get to boss him around and probably won't have to share a room with him, like my poor older sister did when I came along. It is the general consensus of anyone in my family who has had to share a room with me that I'm a bed hog, and they're probably right. LOL.
