Little Anna was so disappointed
#55
Tell Anna that I was disappointed three times. Yep, I have three "little brothers" and no sisters. I remember crying each time. Now that we are all adults they spoil me rotten, buy me gifts and will do anything for me. I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world! I love the quilt and so will he.

Very nice quilt and great way to help your DGD. My grandson (who is5) was sad at first too that he's going to have another sister but now he is just so into reading each week how she is growing, etc.

Oh, wow! That's a quilt i haven't attempted yet! You handled the disappointment very well; taught her to lovingly accept the gift of a brother and the generosity to make him a gift. You and she will always remember the time you spent making this gorgeous quilt - happy memories all around.
