I have finished my "D-O-G" quilt. There is a picture of Heidi on it. She doesn't like having her picture taken, so I had to work fast. I couldn't find any stripe in my stash to do Geta's design justice, but found this violet stripe, so it had to do. I only had 1 yard of each of the fabrics, so my design was limited, because of the size the quilt had to be. It is 42" square, should really have been bigger. The wonky is the sashing strips between the squares. The old machines don't ease and I was sewing upstairs while the pins were downstairs. I also wanted it puffy so used polyester batting. I had to use muslin on the back. I made strips for the binding and sewed them on the back and folded to the front. I forgot to add that purple is Heidi's favorite color...don't ask.

I think Heidi needs a QUEEN size on HER sofa. My niece has A great dane and he has his own sofa!

Yes, she sleeps with me in my queen size bed. I should rephrase that, I sleep with her in her queen size bed. And she sits on the sofa and watches out the window. Here is another pic after she dozed off, without flash.

My nieces Dane sits in her lap, and she backs up and sits on the bottom step of the stairway. She thinks she is a Yorkie! LOL By the way, the quilt is really pretty.

Grann, this is too cute for words. Love the quilt, and Geta's work also.
