    Default Little Gem Quilt***posting for my friend piecebypiece also on this board

    I thought I would post this to show how sometimes quilting a round design in a square block takes your mind away from the idea that it is a square block. She did a beautiful job on this quilt!

    I have always believed that once the top gets quilted that the whole thing takes on a new character

    Lovely! You are quite right it works beautifully and somehow you see the two patterns merging yet separate (sounds weird but hopefully you know what I mean).
