Little girl's quilt (doll theme, applique)
#1
Hi everyone. I finished this quilt earlier this summer for my almost three-year-old daughter. It was my first applique project - I learned that, while I don't love applique, sometimes it worth it. I love this quilt for her.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to quilt such a thing, though? I'd like to finish it for her for her birthday (November) or Christmas, although that is being hopeful. Lots of things going on between now and then.

How adorable! Makes me wish there were some girl babies in my family. I agree with craftybear. I can picture an upside down heart in the body. Then maybe smaller hearts inside it or some stippling in the background to make the baby stand out.
