Awww, that's a cute quilt! And darn it, now I'm hungry! I love eating crappie and blue gill...yum!

I would stitch in the ditch for the curves. I agree with everyone else about doing the wavy water-lines for the fish blocks and outline the fish. I can't wait to see a photo of the finished quilt.

I love it and love your work
What about Hawaiian quilting just 3 or 4 rounds inside the each block around the curves don't touch the fish

Your quilt is making me hungry for crappie. We didn't get to do any crappie fishing this year because of some health issues, so I didn't get my annual 'crappie fix'!!!

You've done a nice job, and that middle block is soooo cute! I think the wavy quilting is a good idea in the fish blocks, and then stitch in the ditch for the rest.

I think it is sooo cute and really suited to a man or boy. You have done a great job on it.
If you want to do machine quilting and want to learn about it, there has been a lot of talk on here, go back a ways and looking for it, lots of tips on it. someone else may be able to tell you exactly how to find it easier.

I'm originally from Alabama and I always thought it was pronounced "croppy". Is that correct, or were my parents just trying to avoid awkward questions?
