Default little kid quilt - bright and cheery!

Pattern: from the Quilts for Kids site (I've made several quilts for QFK, but am now working on supplying a soon-to-be foster home with quilts for each child.)

Fabric: one yard each of 3 different fabrics. The orange polka dot is Lollipop by Sandy Gervais for Moda. The floral is Pattern #19481, but that's all I can read on the selvedge. They all came from my LQS

    Size: about 45X50.

Backing - pieced from the yardage.

    Binding: backing brought over

Quilted by me, myself, and I using a Flynn frame.

My machine gave me such fits with tension. I ended up ripping out LOTS of quilting because of eyelashes on the back. But ... done!

My LQS favorite lady suggested the orange and floral with some fish fabric I had when I asked for a "girly fish" quilt. Some of you kindly said it was fine, some diplomatically said it was my quilt and to do whatever I wanted, but when my adult daughter texted "eeeeekk!!" to a picture I went with that. LOL

    Here's that thread: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t152011.html

Flynn frame pics: (I'm still not totally sold. Sewing area for my machine is very small and there's quite a bit of set up, but ... not sure I'd want to go back to my stitching near a ditch or cross hatching.) http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...g-t176981.html scroll down to find pics of the frame. This is my 3rd quilt on the frame and I'm pleased at how much I'm improving.

What a great project. I really like that floral border fabric. Have fun making those much needed quilts. Peggy
