Beautiful! I might put a layer of smoke coloured tulle over top and then quilt/thread paint in the details but you wouldn’t have to get all the edges since the tulle will keep them in place.

This is beautiful! I love both the original and your mosaic and the subject. Lovely work. Amazingly beautiful to be able to do this with pieces of fabric! I applaud you!
