Nice job! I love the backing fabric. I read something about writing on labels--try ironing some freezer paper on the back of your label before you write or draw on it. It's supposed to keep it more stable and make it easier to write.

Henry, I'm also in NC (West Jefferson). Where are you? NICE that you enjoy quilting. My father worked at "Harwood" in Virginia just after WWII and sewed clothing. He also made quilts. Love your colors.

Hi NCMtnhigh. I am in the Raleigh area, live in Knightdale just outside of Raleigh. I do enjoy quilting. I posted a quilt that my grandfather made for me 22 years ago on here under the pictures section. I'm glad to see you like my colors.:) Thanks for the post and kind words.
