beautiful quilt, he'll enjoy it.my granddaughter had leukemia at the age of 1 year old,she's been in remission for 3 1/2 years now. she is 7 1/2 now,we keep our prayers going for anyone that is ill.keep up your spirts.

I made 2 quilts and some pillowcases for two boys with cancer. They both liked to surround themselves with pillows made of "their" cases. You might want to do a few of those, also. Fighting cancer is a tough, tough job for anyone, especially a child. I think you'll be surprised how much the quilt will help him. Sometimes the patient gets very chilled during treatment and the quilt is a little touch of warmth and security.
Your quilt is adorable and I'm sure he'll love it. The parents will appreciate your love shown thru the quilt. Blessings to the whole family...I feel so sad when I hear about a child dealing with this disease.
