    Those are cut sizes. So they finish at 1/2" smaller than that.

    And in response to "you're so fast" reply...All the squares were already cut! I really only had to cut some more sashings, (and probably fewer than half the squares needed sashings) sew them on, and then connect the strips. It did take longer than some others because working on point required me to take it all downstairs to the basement, lay out the squares on the floor, pin them together and then come back and sew them together. But it was the sashing with cornerstones that took the most time. I won't do that again right away--they are small cornerstones and when I had to change a few because I repeated myself too often, it was a pain!
