I say he's a lucky little boy to get you for a Grandma. I also see more quilts in his future! Beautiful!

Remember the days so long ago that my boy spent 8 days for being 6 weeks early. I was welcomed change as i was the only parent who was there twice a day for four hours a day. Saw only one other parent in those days. Keep in mind i was over an hour and a half one way away. Never so happy to bring him home. Make sure that you spend time "kangarooing". The closeness really helps them continue to develope.

I don't think it will be a problem as his name is stitched clear across the bottom! And thanks for the warning.
Well see that's just the thing. Many hospitals send their laundry out to a central facility. Even with the name stitched on the bottom, it can get lost. I have worked in a hospital for many years, and sadly things do get misplaced. I would hate for something that special to disappear one way or the other. Hope today is bringing good news from the NICU for you!

Launie--thanks for that insight. Maybe it will go home with Mom and Dad instead.
I just finished three 24 x 24 flannel charm blankets--no filler between the top and flannel back. Just a little something to wrap a wee one in. Two are boy themed; the other all pink for a girl. Hope the NICU can use them.

Hi Gladie, Congrats on the wee one! Jackson is a sweet name, my first grandson's name is the same! He just had his birthday yesterday. 4 yrs old, I can't believe it. I wish your grandson the best and home soon with mom and dad. You are sweet to make premmie quilts for the NCIU, I am sure they will appreciate your contribution and love.
