    I, too, love the fabrics & the lay out. I'm not familiar with this pattern but I sure do like it. Looks like the quilt inspector is on duty today... LOL! Too cute (the quilt & the kitty cat)!

    In all honestly, it looks more complicated then it is. I had 64 squares that I had to sew the white strips to then 8 bigger squares with no white on them, then just layout so that it looks like steps.

    This is the pattern I used. It comes with both instructions.

    lol...well that black spot won't go with the blanket when I am done. Though I am sure he thinks he needs it more. Funny thing, I made them pillows and he is the only one that uses them. They like my freshly laid out fabric the best.
