Wow thanks everyone!!! I feel so much better!!!! It's always reassuring to get feedback from those that "know".... Though, would you really tell me it's ugly? Lol. Also, I noticed that I missed a spot in the quilting!!!!!!!!

It is adorable, and you are plenty good enough to be giving it as a gift. It may not be "exactly" what they would pick out if they were choosing it, or it may be just what they would choose, you never know, when you do something as a surprise for someone. I have quilts that were done for my kids when they were born, and they weren't the style I would have chosen, but, I treasure them, because of who made them and all the work and love that went into them. Two of my kids are expecting their first children and I will be passing these sweet quilts on to them for their babies.

Really cute. Love the fabric and the color combo is perfect. I had to go back and look for the spot you missed. :)
Had to chuckle as I have a mostly finished SID project folded wrong side out on a chair beside me. I noticed yesterday that I had missed a spot so now I have a boo-boo pin there. It happens. I think it is part of the process.
But I love your quilt.
