This is very sweet. Quite an accomplishment for an early work and very nice. I agree that there is something to learn when we go back and look at our earliest work. We see how much we have improved our skills and things we may do in a different way in the future.

I recognize improvements even from the beginning of a quilt to the end of it. Later made blocks are always better than the first few.

That is a beautiful watercolor quilt.I have never seen one done like that. A watercolor quilt is on my bucket list. I just pinned yours for inspiration. I agree with you my binding skills have improved over the years too. I was at my moms the other day and looked at the snowman table runner I had made for her several years ago. I told her to give it to me when she is finished displaying it. I want to re-do the binding.

So pretty! You make me want to do one of these. Did it take forever?

How pretty. I have always wanted to give a watercolor quilt a try. But it is so far down the list of promised or unfinished pieces that .... well maybe, someday!

Texas_Sue, it probably longer than it should have. I kept second guessing myself on placement. I spent a few days rearranging those little squares over and over, and I still don't feel like I got it right ;-)
