I finished getting the body all sewn together tonight. This is made from 2 jelly rolls plus 6 FQs of the lights in the Moda Portobello Market collection. I ordered the yardage for the border in the dark blue. It has an overall brown/red look so I wanted to bring out the blue in it more.

I think I will quilt it accenting the center star by echoing the star shape at 2" intervals in the center. Maybe a motif in the on-point square shapes around the star.

The only place large enough to take a picture laying straight is in the kitchen/family room and I don't feel like moving the table tonight!

Beautiful! Probably one of my all-time favorite patterns! I'm working on one now and will soon be ready to sew the blocks together.
