    I should do feathers so well...to be honest, I should do ANY feathers at all. Just haven't screwed up my small courage yet to try, even.

    just put some plain fabric on and try it-have some fun.I did that when beginning and made dog mats/cat mats for the shelter with my practice pieces.The animals do not care about the quilting.

    I like the blocks and thre feathers. The thing that is so cool about feathers is that every one does them different and has their very own style. Cool!

    I tried feathers and I would have been thrilled if mined looked as good as yours. I ended up ripping them out and just doing free motion. I need a lot more practice but I don't want to spend the time practicing, I'd rather finish some of my many and groing UFOs.
