    What a beautiful color choice for a young lady. I, too, have never made a log cabin and have been sewing for 50 + years and quilting 10. She did a marvelous job.

    I know you are proud of her; however, I hope she is proud of her accomplishment. The quilt is beautiful. Stand by her, encourage her, and help her over the hard spots.

    Wowzer!! She did a fantastic job...it is just beautiful. One of the best "1st" quilts I have ever seen. Buy that girl a sewing machine if she doesn't have one already...
