Default Log Cabin made with Thimbleberries

Most of the fabrics in this one are Thimbleberries. I got my inspiration from a pattern in the book "The Blue and the Gray, Quilt Patterns using Civil War Fabrics" – Mary Etherington, Connie Tesene. I have decided that Thimbleberries fabric makes a great substitute for Civil War Fabric. This quilt is not real big, 50 x 66 so it's a nice lap size. I did run into a problem when I used an orange crayola ultra washable marker. It did not wash out on one of the tan fabrics in particular, so that took a bit of extra attention, but I did get it out. Whew! Thanks for looking.

Beautiful log cabin quilt. Looking at the close ups makes this quilt a masterpiece. Your quilted feathers in each block is perfect. Thanks for sharing.
