    you make log cabin blocks- then play around with laying them out til you like what *design* you have- then sew them together.

    This is so wonderful!! I love log cabins and the colors you have used are some of my favorites. Love your quilting pattern on this one also! What kind of machine did you use for this?
    my phaff 1200 has a small harp area so I have a challenge doing patterns over six inches. I Still love doing it but every time I go to the sewing machine store where they sell long arms I always try them out..wishing has not proved reliable.no results.love to have one with stitch regulator and be able to sit on a rolling chair.

    It's lovely to see a Log Cabin done in these colors. While I appreciate the work that goes into these quilts I find a lot too busy for my liking. Love yours
