    Default Log cabin

I finished this as part of my goals for the VQW. All fabrics were free to me.

This is a beauty. Great fabric combination. I love the effect created when 1/2 of the logs are all one print.

You certainly accomplished your VQW goals with a fabulous finish. I like the star in the center of your log cabin and the arrangement of blocks. Great finish.

Beautiful quilt. I have some great blue's here that would work for that. Did you have a pattern for it?

Thank you all VQW = virtual quilt weekend. I did not have a pattern. I combined 2 BOM challenges from guild. First was to make a log cabin block. Second was to make a star. I just made the Star fit where the center 4 log cabin blocks would have gone. Fabrics were gifted to me and when I ran out of those I used in the first round, I switched color ways for the next round

Beautiful Log Cabin! This really does sparkle and is very Patriotic and subtle, well done.
