A gorgeous LC! I love any setting. Quilting a design down the furrows is how I finished one and liked it.

It's beautiful and Charisma feathers would look awesome in the furrows!

Beautiful top. I would do feathers . The curves of it soften the straight lines of the log cabin.

Beautiful! I've done 2 blue Log Cabins... one I had quilted in an all-over meander (in cream) & the other was stippled on the blue side & had feathers on the muslin side. I liked them both. Please post again after this beauty is quilted, OK?

Funny you should post this -- I'm working on my log cabin and I was planning on using this same block layout. I've been working with my LAQ as she did one last year with a columbine and vine pattern for her parents for Christmas .. and she found a square in a square pantograph that is absolutely amazing. While I am working on my log cabin, I have just finished a log cabin star from Laundry Basket Quilts -- it's 104x116 king size. My LAQ showed me a pattern layover of the pantograph over my quilt image and it was awesome. Good luck with whatever you choose !

Very pretty. I really like the star in the center.
